Biological Detoxification of the Inhibitors in Corncob Acid Hydrolysate Using Aspergillus niger

چکیده
The biological detoxification of lignocellulose hydrolysate is an effective method through which to enhance microbial fermentation efficiency. In this study, inhibitor-tolerant strain A. niger (Aspergillus niger) was used for the corncob hydrolysate. results showed that M13 can tolerate a concentration at least 7.50 ± 0.19 g/L acetic acid, 1.81 0.13 furfural, and 1.02 0.10 HMF (5-Hydroxymethylfurfural). spores had higher efficiency than mycelial pellets with rate 0.1566 g/L/h, 0.1125 0.015 g/L/h HMF, respectively. cell preferentially consumed then before simultaneously degrading acid glucose. could accumulate small amounts citric directly from undetoxified about 6 g/L. Therefore, serve as excellent potential fermenting when using lignocellulosic hydrolysates.

Detoxification of Corncob Acid Hydrolysate with SAA Pretreatment and Xylitol Production by Immobilized Candida tropicalis
Xylitol fermentation production from corncob acid hydrolysate has become an attractive and promising process. However, corncob acid hydrolysate cannot be directly used as fermentation substrate owing to various inhibitors. In this work, soaking in aqueous ammonia (SAA) pretreatment was employed to reduce the inhibitors in acid hydrolysate. After detoxification, the corncob acid hydrolysate was ...

Minimizing the number of generations through which a culture passes from the initial culture until its recovery at the fi nal stage of fermentation is a general principle. For fi lamentous fungi, a large number of generations can cause the appearance of low-yield producing variants and mutant strains, which are generally genetically unstable. The use of successive sub-cultures can decrease the ...

BACKGROUND Agricultural waste is as an alternative low-cost carbon source or beneficial additives which catch most people's eyes. In addition, methanol and sweet potato vine hydrolysate (SVH) have been reported as the efficient enhancers of fermentation according to some reports. The objective of the present study was to confirm SVH as an efficient additive in CA production and explore the syne...
